TextQL, Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Ana virtual data analyst service (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Additionally, users may disclose personal information while using the Service.

We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, detecting spam or fraud, and improving our services.

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, the device used for your visit, and other statistics.

3. User Files

Users may upload files, including but not limited to data files, image files, and archive files, to use the Service's analytical functions. We will never sell, distribute, or read user files under any circumstances. Your files do not reach third-party service providers except for Amazon Web Services, where they are stored with enterprise-standard in-traffic and at-rest encryption. Once you delete a file and chats where it was imported, it is immediately, irrevocably and permanently deleted. We do not keep backups of user files.

4. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our services for you. This includes cookies managed by Stytch, Inc. for session tokens and JWTs, cookies by Google for enabling "Sign in with Google" functionality, and cookies by June for session reconciliation, retention, and analytics, without using user data for advertising purposes.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The Help feature on most browsers provides information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies, or to notify you when receiving a new cookie.

If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our Service, and we recommend that you leave them turned on.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services, or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose, including the training of machine learning models — we have Service License Agreements with relevant service providers that explicitly prohibits this use case.

We use end-to-end encryption and conduct penetration testing and code reviews to verify the security of our Service.

In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access to Personal Information, we will notify affected users via email and provide an incident report within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We may retain users' Personal Information and Log Data for as long as they maintain an account with us.

Our Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to use or access the Service.

Our Privacy Policy is designed with the intention to align with data protection regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the best of our ability.
